I wondered if anyone had any objections to me contacting Wikia and requesting that they enable the "google maps" extension on Wiki 24. All it does is add a button to the editing toolbar, and allow a google maps module to be embedded onto wiki pages - you can read about it here. I'm not saying that I'm gonna include maps on any articles, but I'd quite like to play around in the sandbox and see what sort of things can be accomplished. It may be possible to track character's movements across LA using trails over the maps (based on either IU locations or OOU filming locations) or something like that - I was just wanting to enable the extension in order to see what was possible! --Acer4666 (talk) 17:56, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, unfortunately I contacted them and they can't enable it due to issues at Google's end. They are working on a mapping extension themselves, but that could take some time. Sorry for the false alarm!--Acer4666 (talk) 00:32, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
