The Fox Broadcasting Company, commonly referred to as Fox or the Fox Network, and stylized as FOX, is an American commercial broadcasting television network owned by the Fox Entertainment Group of 21st Century Fox. Launched on October 9, 1986 as a competitor to the Big Three stations - ABC, NBC, and CBS - Fox became the highest-rated broadcast network in the 18-49 demographic from 2004 to 2012, and in the 2007-2008 season was the most-watched network in the United States.

24, produced by the network's unofficial production arm 20th Century Fox Television, aired on Fox on Monday nights at 9:00 p.m. from 2001 to 2010. Beginning with Season 4, Fox delayed the premiere of 24 to a two-night, four-hour event on Sunday and Monday in January of each year, allowing seasons to run without programming breaks until May. Fox also aired the limited revival series 24: Live Another Day in summer 2014.

The spin-off series 24: Legacy premiered on Fox at 11:00 p.m. EST on February 5, 2017 after the network's telecast of Super Bowl LI, followed by the series' timeslot debut on February 6 at 8/7c.
