Frank Trammell was the Chief Political Officer of the United States Embassy to Sangala during 24: Redemption.

Trammell located Jack Bauer at the Okavango School with orders to extradite Jack to the United States based on torture allegations. When Jack refused to take the extradition order, Trammell spoke with Carl Benton and threatened to cut funding to his school if he didn't convince Jack to take it.

As the army of Benjamin Juma began to advance upon Sangala, Trammell was in charge of the evacuation of the embassy. As such he authorized who was allowed to be evacuated and who didn't. Among the people he evacuated was former Prime Minister Ule Matobo.

When Jack Bauer arrived to the embassy with the children from the school, Trammell told him that he wouldn't take them unless he came too, so he could be extradited. Ultimately, Jack agreed and they all left Sangala in a chopper.
