The French Revolution was a revolution that took place in France long before the time of Head Shot.

The Revolution experienced a period of violence under Robespierre known as the Terror, and was followed by an empire led by Napoleon. Fouché served as a spymaster during the Revolution, spying on royals, popes, royalists, and even fellow revolutionaries.

Background information and notes Edit

  • The French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799 and resulted in the abolition of the French monarchy. Although the monarchy itself was restored only decades later, the Revolution is widely credited for the spread of republicanism, secularism, and other modern-day ideals.
