The terrorist ringleader Habib Marwan operated a base hidden beneath a building owned by Galaxy at the address 24878 Alvert Street. This location was surrendered by Dina Araz, an informant who wished to betray Marwan in order to protect her son Behrooz Araz. CTU agents discovered a wealth of materials there that the terrorists used to plan the attacks of the day. Just before 5pm, CTU Agent Jack Bauer interrogated Paul Raines as a suspect after having his separated wife, Audrey Raines, delay him. The lead on Paul turned out to be a dead end, as he was innocent.
