Greg Farber (born November 14, 1978; age 38) played Oleg Bazhaev during Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Gene Farber was born in Minsk, Belarus. He emigrated to the United States when he was eleven years old. Farber attended Fiorella H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center in New York City. He also graduated from Boston University with a BFA in Acting. Finally, he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

Farber began his professional acting career in 2004, appearing in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. After that, he has appeared in shows like the original Law & Order (with Sean Astin) as well as Law & Order: LA (with Harry Lennix, Alla Karot, and Tamlyn Tomita). Other shows he has appeared are Numb3rs (with Peter MacNicol and Patrick Bauchau), The Mentalist (with Gregory Itzin), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Jose Zuniga).

Farber also had a minor role on the film like X-Men: First Class (with Rade Serbedzija and Ray Wise), and has also lent his voice to numerous characters in video games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops (with Eamon Hunt an Mark Bramhall).
