Germany, a country in Europe, was among the nations listed in the CTU Operations Manual. Its intelligence agency, the Bundesnachrichtendienst, was listed as well.

Like many European countries, the currency of Germany was the Euro. ("Day 2: 3:00am-4:00am")

Day 1 Edit

CTU's intel on the David Palmer assassination attempt indicated that the shooter was possibly from Germany. A short time later, Flight 221 from Berlin to Los Angeles exploded over the Mojave Desert, killing Martin Belkin.

Later, mole Nina Myers called her German contacts, who had a scheme to withdraw her from the U.S. and transfer her to Munich. She was captured by Jack Bauer later.

Day 2 Edit

The mastermind of Day 2 was Max, a man from Germany.

Day 5 Edit

Theo Stoller, an agent of the German Federal Intelligence Service, was involved with the information broker Collette Stenger in a sting operation to ultimately reveal her terrorist business clients. The German operation was dismantled, however, when Jack Bauer promised Theo the American WET List in exchange for an American arrest of Stenger. After Stenger was arrested by CTU Los Angeles, Theo was given the WET List and he prepared to upload it to his superior Heinrich. However, Bauer had sabotaged the chip containing it, and the Germans received nothing.

Day 8 Edit

Germany was represented during the peace talks held by US President Allison Taylor at the United Nations on Day 8. When IRK President Omar Hassan started violating civil rights in his country to quench a possible rebellion, Germany was one of the countries that expressed doubts about the success of a peace accord.

Also, Jack Bauer went undercover as a German arms dealer by the name of Ernst Meier. His cover story had him coming from the city of Bremen.
