Glenda Darnell was born in Chicago, Illinois. She is a former Ebony Fashion Fair Model.
Darnell started her acting career in 1998, appearing as a pregnant mother in a TV documentary titled It's a Miracle. After that, she has appeared in other TV shows like The Parkers, Veronica Mars, Good Luck Charlie, and a recurring role as a cop on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. Darnell has also appeared in films like The Man in 3B (with DB Woodside) and Why Am I Doing This? (with Tamlyn Tomita).
Aside of her work in entertainment, Darnell is an entrepreneur. She is a licensed California real estate agent, as well as the owner of an intimate apparel boutique in Los Angeles. Darnell also hosts The Sheryl Underwood Show on Jamie Foxx's The Foxxhole, on Sirius 106/XM 149.
