Haywood was a park ranger on duty during the events of Mistaken Identity.

After Jason Blaine neutralized a threat posed by two Russian terrorists, he pulled up alongside a Ranger Haywood, who was on horseback. Blaine told Haywood that there were two men "burning firewood" without a permit and pointed him in the right direction. The Haywood set off after them as Jason gave a cheeky smile.

Ranger Haywood restrained the terrorists and escorted them away from the scene of the explosion.
