Heather was in a hallway when David Palmer walked by, on his way to speak with the Prime Minister of Turkey. Palmer had recently been unseated from the Presidency by James Prescott who made use of the 25th Amendment. She addressed Palmer as "Mr. President" by force of habit, but then realized her mistake and shyly apologized.

- Heather Salmon is credited as playing "Linda" even though Palmer addresses her twice as Heather.
- Heather Salmon also played a CTU nurse named Deborah in two episodes of Day 4.
