The Heckler and Koch USP Compact, or in this case, a USP9c chambered for the 9x19mm round, was the preferred handgun for Jack Bauer during Day 3 through Day 8.

• USP stands for Universelle Selbstlade Pistole, or Universal Self-loading pistol in English. This weapon is available in 9mm Parabellum (Luger), .40 S&W, .45 ACP and (USP Compact only) .357 SIG calibres. The factory-standard 9mm magazine holds 13 rounds, the .40 S&W holds 12, the .45 ACP holds 8, and the .357 SIG holds 12.
