Implanted tracking device

From Wiki 24

An implanted tracking device is an electronic signal emitter used by a party to keep tabs on the movement of a person or valued object.

[edit] Day 4

The terrorist ringleader Habib Marwan demanded that CTU Los Angeles arrange a hostage exchange to distract them from one of his operations. When Jack Bauer was turned over to Marwan's men, CTU handed off the young boy Behrooz Araz who had been outfitted with a tracking device in his watch and another below the scalp. Abdullah used a scanner to detect them, and destroyed them both.

[edit] Day 5

When Department of Homeland Security official Karen Hayes suspected that Audrey Raines was making illegal contact with former federal agent Jack Bauer, she had her subordinate Valerie Harris place a tracking device on her car and shadow her. However, Audrey determined the location of the tracker, and ultimately fooled Karen and Valerie when, at a nearby gas station, she transfered the tracking device onto a large truck.

[edit] Day 6

Jack Bauer had his TAC team implanted a tracking device into Dmitri Gredenko's left arm. This one was not electronic, but instead emitted a harmless isotope that was easy to trace. Once Gredenko was in place with his associate Abu Fayed, he alerted them of the device, and Fayed's men chopped off Gredenko's arm.

Later, CTU agent Mike Doyle implanted a tracker inside Josh Bauer, so he could follow Josh and find federal fugitive Philip Bauer after exchanging Josh for the FB Sub Circuit Board. However, Philip's mercenaries scanned Josh, discovered the tracker, and disabled it.
