Ivers was an agent at CTU Los Angeles during Day 2.

Day 2[]

Ivers was at CTU when anti-government American terrorists working for Joseph Wald hid three bombs there. He died when they exploded along with 29 others at 10:57am. ("10:00am-11:00am")

The deaths of Ivers and Appell were brought up by Tony Almeida to George Mason shortly after noon. He was mentioned again when Jack Bauer asked Mason to be debriefed with someone other than Knoll. Jack asked for Ivers, and then Clark, but Mason confirmed that they were both dead, and said 'We lost a lot of good people here today Jack.' ("12:00pm-1:00pm")

A few hours later, at around 9:40pm, Almeida assumed control of CTU because Mason became exposed to lethal doses of radiation. Tony asked the staff to put their desire to mourn for Mason, Paula Schaeffer, Ivers, and Clark on hold, and focus on foiling the Second Wave terrorist threat.
