Jamison Haase (born April 19, 1974; age 50) played CTU security guard Jim Payne during Season 8 of 24.
Career
Jamison Haase was born in Cedar Township, a small town in Minnesota. His father was a policeman and his mother an elementary school teacher. Although Haase first acted when he was in fifth grade, it wasn't until he was cast in a high school play that he decided to pursue a career in acting. He attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he received a BFA in Theatre, and later moved to Minneapolis to continue working in theater, film and commercials. With time, he moved to Los Angeles.
Haase began his acting career in 2000 with a role on the show 18 Wheels of Justice. After that, he has appeared in shows like Cold Case (with Marisol Nichols), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Samantha Who (with Jean Smart), Prison Break (with Ron Yuan, Kevin Sizemore, and Tom Choi), Mad Men (with Ryan Cutrona), Law & Order: LA (with Michael Massee), and Castle (with Stana Katic and Penny Johnson Jerald).
Recently Haase has been part of the main cast of the show Jon and Jen Are Married where he plays main character Jon. He has also been a recurring actor on TNT's show The Last Ship (with Tracy Middendorf).
Aside of television, Haase has worked on films like Murder101, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Sox (with Burl Moseley), Miss Ohio, Crossing Over, and Sugar & Spice.
