Jason Matthew Smith (born November 8, 1972; age 51) is an actor who played Chris in Season 1 of 24. His height is 6' 2".

Biography and career[]

Jason Matthew Smith was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up in several places in the Midwest of the USA, but spent most times in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. His family finally settled in Cincinnati were he attended high school and college. Smith earned a BFA in Acting from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.

After graduating, Smith decided to continue studying at Northern Illinois University where he earned his MFA in Acting. During that time, he studied with master Miesner instructors Katheryn Gately and Gene Terrusso.

Smith has had small roles in hit shows such as CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with James Badge Dale), and Cold Case (with Daniel Kash). He is perhaps best known currently to Trekkies for his supporting role as "Cupcake" in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.
