John Allen Nelson played Walt Cummings in seasons 4 and 5 of 24.
Mr. Nelson has appeared on such shows as Early Edition, Quantum Leap, and Friends. He was married to Asi Nelson, but they divorced, and his two children live with their mother.
He is one of three actors to play Deathstalker in the notoriously bad Deathstalker series of films - the one he appeared in, Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell, was featured in a popular episode of the cult movie-riffing TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000.
He is best known for his appearances in the early seasons of Baywatch, and later costarred with another Baywatch alum, Gena Lee Nolin, in the syndicated Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans may also remember him as the titular hero of Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell.
More recently he has appeared in a regular role on the FOX series Vanished.
