- — Ryan Chappelle to Gael Ortega, "Day 3: 7:00pm-8:00pm"
Day 3 Edit
The apparently criminal activity of Agent Gael Ortega within CTU caused his coworkers to believe he was a mole for Hector Salazar. He was captured and placed in holding. Eventually Director Ryan Chappelle brought in Agent Johnson to administer torture to Gael and extract information about his operation and conspirators.
Despite using syringes (probably filled with Hyoscine-pentothal) to inflict pain on Gael, Johnson was unable to get Ortega to admit if he had any accomplices. Tony Almeida left the care of Dr. Linzer when he heard that Ortega was captured, and when he arrived at CTU, Tony demanded that Chappelle excuse Johnson. After Johnson departed, Tony and Gael revealed to Chappelle and Michelle Dessler that Gael was not a mole after all.
Day 4 Edit
Agent Johnson was still active in Los Angeles during Day 4. A few minutes before 8am, the possibility of calling in Johnson was mentioned by Erin Driscoll to agent Ronnie Lobell, when the prisoner Tomas Sherek refused to respond to conventional interrogation.
Background information and notes Edit
- Johnson is one of three CTU LA agents whose sole known function is interrogation. Eric Richards was an interrogator active during Seasons 3 and 4, and Rick Burke took on this role during Seasons 5 and 6.
