Jonathan Del Arco (born March 7, 1966; age 58) played Ian during Season 4 of 24. He is predominantly a television actor, with appearances in at least twenty different television series.

Biography and career

Jonathan Del Arco was born in Uruguay, but moved to the United States when he was young. Del Arco became interested in theater as a teenager, and eventually enrolled in acting classes. After graduating high school, he moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.

Del Arco's first credited role was in 1987, on an episode of Miami Vice. The episode also featured Francesco Quinn and Esai Morales. After that, he has appeared in shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation (with James Horan, Benito Martinez, and Michael Reilly Burke), Star Trek: Voyager, Pacific Blue, The Division, and Dollhouse (with Harry Lennix and Glenn Morshower).

Since 2007, Del Arco has played the role of Dr. Morales on both The Closer, and its spin-off Major Crimes. On both shows, he has shared the screen with Raymond Cruz and Billy Burke.

Aside of TV, Del Arco has also appeared in films like True Rights, The Mambo Kings (with Carlos Gomez), and Lost Angels.
