Jones was an airman at an Air Force base during Day 4.

Day 4

Just before 9pm Mitch Anderson, disguised as John Hansen, was making his way through an internal security door, and Jones passed him in the opposite direction. He stopped to salute who he thought was a captain, and Mitch returned the salute. Jones then went on his way, while Mitch used Hansen's severed finger to get through the security door. ("8:00pm-9:00pm")
