Kathleen Gati (born August 13, 1957; age 66) played Russian First Lady Anya Suvarov during Season 5 and Season 6 of 24. She is a TV and movie actress, with a career spanning the early 80s to present day.

Biography and career[]

Kathleen Gati was born and raised in Canada. Her parents were Hungarian immigrants that were involved in the arts business. Gati's father was a symphony conductor and her mother was an opera singer. As a result, she was involved in entertainment since she was a child. When she turned 20, Gati moved to New York to pursue a full-time career as an actress.

Gati began her acting career appearing in theater plays both on and off Broadway. She has also appeared in many productions, including All My Children, The Practice, NYPD Blue (with Esai Morales), ER (with Leland Orser and Sara Gilbert), Las Vegas, NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), and Carnivale (with Patrick Bauchau).

Aside of TV shows, Gati has also appeared in films like Sunshine (with James Frain), The Fall (with Jurgen Prochnow), Meet the Fockers, Jakob the Liar, and Igby Goes Down.
