Larry Hertzog was a CIA official working in at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, during Day 3.

CTU Los Angeles agent Tony Almeida tried to get Larry's help in finding a CIA position for Michelle Dessler. At roughly 1:20pm, Larry called Tony to inform him that there was no position available for Michelle. Tony reported, after the call ended, that Larry claimed it was because funding was unavailable until after the Presidential election between incumbent David Palmer and Senator John Keeler.
