Agent Liles apprehended Tony Almeida for the crime of treason. He took Almeida's weapon and had his men arrest the former CTU agent. When Jack Bauer came over and demanded that Tony be treated less like a criminal, Liles stated that the arrest was specifically ordered by Brad Hammond from Division. Liles arrived at CTU Los Angeles with Tony, and handed him over to Hammond.
