After intimacy with Kyle, Linda searched his bag and found the bag of cocaine. Linda was shocked that Kyle was dealing drugs and told him she couldn't be with somebody who did that, so she left him. After Kyle lost the bag of cocaine and ran from his parents, he called Linda and told her to find some of her dad's money and bring it to him at the mall. Linda reluctantly agreed to this and arrived at the mall to pick Kyle up. In the car, Linda learned that Kyle supposedly had a virus. Fearing for her own well-being, Linda told Kyle to stop the car. She grabbed hold of the steering wheel which caused the car to crash. Upon getting out of the car, they were both kidnapped. After they were kidnapped, Linda stopped Kyle from committing suicide. Later, they were rescued by CTU and it was revealed Kyle never even had contracted the virus.
