[edit] Biography
Logan Marshall-Green is an American actor born on February 26, 1978. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised by his mother, Lowry Marshall, in Cranston, Rhode Island. He has a twin brother named Taylor. His mother wanted her name involved, hence the hyphenated combination of last names from his mother and father.
He attended Edward S. Rhodes School (4th grade), Edgewood Highlands school (5th-6th grade), and Barrington High School.
He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he worked in a school dining facility (even reaching supervisor) and wrote for the school newspaper, The Daily Beacon, in early 1998 as an Entertainment Writer primarily covering the bar, music, and theater scene. He went on to earn his Master's in Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Logan Marshall-Green is best known for his recurring role as Trey Atwood on The O.C.
Logan Marshall-Green also had a guest spot on two of NBC's hit shows in 2003 Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and in 2004 Law and Order.
Logan's first love is the theater. He received a Drama Desk award for his performance in Neil LaBute's The Distance From Here in 2004. He recently played a shark in Adam Bock's Swimming in the Shallows. In August 2005 on the Main Stage of the Williamstown Theater Festival, he will play Bo Decker in Will Frears' production of William Inge's classic drama Bus Stop.
His career was influenced by his mother, who is an actress, writer, director, and works in the theatre department at Brown University.
He starred in the poorly received 2005 film Alchemy and the Miramax production The Great Raid, which was delayed from 2002 due to the Disney-Miramax split. He was originally linked to The Family Stone, a movie also known as Hating Her, set to be released November 4, 2005, but the entire original cast was replaced.
He was most recently seen in "Across the Universe" which opened in theaters on October 9, 2007.
