Lukas Haas (born April 16, 1976; age 48) played Andrew Paige during Season 4 of 24.
Biography and career
Lukas Haas was born in West Hollywood, California, to Emily Tracy, an author, and Berthold Haas, an artist. He has German heritage on his father's side. Discovered at the age of five by a casting director, Haas first appeared in the 1983 nuclear holocaust film Testament, with William Devane. After that, he became known for his role as an Amish child who witnesses a murder in Witness (with Timothy Carhart).
Haas continued to act through his childhood appearing in films like The Ryan White Story, Solarbabies, and Convicts, as well as TV shows like The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and The Twilight Zone.
Haas' more recent work includes playing a character in Gus van Sant's Last Days, as well as the 2006 film Who Loves the Sun. Other films in which he has appeared are Mars Attacks! (with Michael Reilly Burke), Everyone Says I Love You, Alpha Dog, Inception (with Marc Raducci and Michael Gaston), and Zoolander (with Jon Voight).
In 2012, Haas was cast in the second season of the Kiefer Sutherland series Touch, which also featured Mykelti Williamson, John Boyd and Greg Ellis in recurring roles. He also appeared in Entourage (with Kevin Dillon) and Criminal Minds.
Haas is also a musician and plays guitar in Vincent Gallo's band, Bunny.
