Marat was a Russian mercenary guarding the Letitcia container ship during Day 9.
Marat was shot and killed by Jack Bauer and Belcheck around 10:20pm as they made their way to the ship's bridge. Minutes later, their leader unsuccessfully attempted to contact Marat and Pavel by radio, alerting Cheng Zhi that intruders had boarded the vessel. ("Day 9: 10:00pm-11:00am")
