Mark was a CTU agent during Day 6.

When Jack and Graem Bauer arrived at Darren McCarthy's office, Mark stayed outside to monitor the perimeter.

After Graem managed to take Jack and his father, Phillip Bauer into custody, he took them outside into a van in the parking lot. Jack passed the CTU vehicle and saw that Mark, along with the other agent, killed by a bullet through the window.
