CTU agents sent a field team to apprehend bio-terrorist Stephen Saunders while following a lead. Chase Edmunds led the team, which also included Tom Baker, Martinez, and Graves. After Edmunds and Baker killed three exterior guards, they entered the building lobby, while Graves and Martinez approached from the roof. The four agents cleared the building of Saunders' guards, but discovered that the lead was merely a distraction. Jack Bauer was then coerced to execute Ryan Chappelle to meet Saunders' demands.
