Maurice Tintfass was a middleman between a Ukranian and a Afghan terrorist.

Tintfass broke fairly easily under CTU interrogation, but Jack insisted that he knew much more and broke into Tintfass's poker game and apparently shot him. It turned out that Tintfass wasn't shot and was put in witness relocation and Jack was undercover in jail.
