Maz Jobrani (born February 26, 1972; age 45) portrayed Marko Khatami during Season 2 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Maz Jobrani was born in Tehran, Iran. He and his parents moved to California when he was six years old, and he was raised in Tiburon, Marin County. Jobrani attended Redwood High School in Larkspur. He then attended U.C. Berkeley where he received a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Italian. He was enrolled in a Ph.D. program at UCLA, but dropped out to pursue a career in acting.

Through his career, Jobrani has appeared in TV shows like E-Ring (with series regulars Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper), Law & Order (with Musashi Alexander), The West Wing (with James Cromwell and Ryan Cutrona), and The Agency (with Will Patton).

Aside of TV, Jobrani has appeared in films like Overnight (with Christina Chang), Dragonfly (with Leslie Hope) and The Interpreter (with Clyde Kusatsu).
