McKey was an FBI agent who was part of the surveillance team at the Federal Building during the events of Cat's Claw.

In Cat's Claw, McKey was a member of the surveillance team including Tony Almeida and Nick Dyson. He took frequent trips to the bathroom throughout Cat's Claw. When Tony Almeida saw employees of Bernard Copeland kidnap LAPD Agent Mercy Bennet, mole Nick Dyson clubbed Almeida then McKey and Dyson had a struggle and Dyson knocked McKey out, leaving him unconscious, comatose, or dead.
