Meg worked under Edgar Stiles when she was instructed to examine the hourly reports at CTU. She was overloaded but Edgar insisted, so she looked through for any flagged items of importance. She found data regarding the unusual disappearance of the family of an Air Force pilot, and gave Edgar a CD with her findings. Since Edgar's workload was booked, he could not get around in time to piecing information found in Meg's report.
