Megalyn Echikunwoke (born May 28, 1983; age 33) played Nicole Palmer during Season 1 of 24.

Biography Edit

Megalyn Echikunwoke was born in Spokane, Washington to a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. She is the granddaughter of a Nigerian tribal leader of the Igbo tribe. Her last name means "leader of men". Megalyn has a brother called Miki and a sister called Misty. She was raised on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle, Arizona.

Echikunwoke was discovered when she was 14 years old and a year later, she starred on the TV film Creature alongside Colm Feore, Matthew Carey, and Rick Ravanello. After this, her family moved to Los Angeles where she has starred in several TV shows like Boston Public (with Jesse D. Goins), ER (with Paul McCrane), Sheena (with John Allen Nelson), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (with Tamara Tunie).

Aside of her guest appearances, Echikunwoke has had recurring roles in shows like Raising the Bar (with Currie Graham), That 70's Show (with Kurtwood Smith), The 4400 (with Penny Johnson Jerald), CSI: Miami (with Evan Ellingson), 90210 (with Anthony Azizi), House of Lies (with Tom Irwin), and The Following (with Gbenga Akinnagbe).

Megalyn has also appeared in films like Funny Valentines, Electric Slide (with Rhys Coiro), A Good Day to Die Hard, and Who Do You Love.
