Day 1 Edit
After Rick managed to escape from Ira Gaines' compound, he returned to his home with Melanie. In the afternoon, Kim Bauer called him several times to warn him that she had tried to cover his involvement on her kidnapping, but wasn't very successful. Both times Melanie heard Rick answering a call, but he alleged it was a wrong number. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")
When the safe house where Kim was being held is attacked, Kim called Rick again and told him she'll come by his house. When she did, Melanie was immediately disturbed by her presence sensing there might be a relationship between them both. When they started going through Dan's stuff looking for information on the people that hired him, Melanie told Rick she wanted her to leave. When she was about to, Dan's brother, Frank Allard, arrived and prevented her from leaving until his brother brings the money he promised him. When Kim told Frank she was just trying to find her mother, Melanie told him that she came for Rick. Frank, who was about to finish a drug trade with a dealer, decided to hold everybody hostage until Dan arrived. When it turned out the dealers were undercover cops (Officer Krugman and his partner), Melanie was arrested with the rest. ("4:00pm-5:00pm", "5:00pm-6:00pm", "6:00pm-7:00pm")
As they arrived to a police station, Melanie was quickly taken for interrogation. Since she was jealous of Kim, she lied to the police in order to get her in trouble. While they were in holding, she fought with Kim, but ultimately admitted the truth to Officer Krugman after Kim stood up for her in jail. This resulted in Kim being released.
