Merchant Security Bank was a bank that appeared in Coffee Run of The Rookie.

The robbers head into the bank

While on his way to buy coffee for his co-workers, CTU operative Jason Blaine noticed that three armed men entered the bank. Worried, Blaine proceeded to find a back entrance to the bank and snuck in. Concerned for his safety, Angie Lawson reminded him he didn't have a gun and tried to dissuade him from entering the bank. Jason refused.

Meanwhile, in the bank, the men opend fire, ordering everybody to the ground. They ordered the security guard down as well, kicking his gun off to the side. Two of the men proceeded to blow the vault open while the third waited in the lobby keeping lookout.

Once in, Jason put his cell phone on speakerphone and placed it down on a desk so Lawson could listen in on the ensuing events.

Jason was able to find the gun that was kicked away and picked it up. The robber keeping lookout noticed, however, and grabbed one of the female hostages and held a gun to her head. Jason was able to make her fall unconscious out of fear, thus leaving the robber in the open. Jason was able to knock him out.

LAPD then arrived on the scene. Jason presented them with his identification, and then stressed the fact that he "was never [there]" and left. Later, on the news, Maude takes the credit for the rescue and Jason's boss, Alton Maxwell sarcastically suggests that she be hired at CTU to collect coffee, as that which Jason brought was cold.
