Biography and career Edit
Miguel Perez was born Arnoldo Cruz Pérez, in San Jose, California, to a telephone repair man and a housewife. He was involved in sports as a teenager, but an illness forced him to quit. As a result, he joined the drama club in high school, which sparked his interest in acting. In 1975, Perez dropped out of college and joined the Marines. 4 years later, he was honorably discharged.
After that, Perez moved to New York City where he began a career in theater, training with the National Shakespeare Company. Since 1996, he has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area. His television credits include shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Tony Plana), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), ER (with Eriq La Salle), Star Trek: Voyager, The Shield (with Benito Martinez), CSI: Miami (with Callum Keith Rennie), and NYPD Blue (with Ricky Schroder).
Perez has also appeared on films like Clear and Present Danger (with Joaquim de Almeida, Harris Yulin, Benjamin Bratt, and Raymond Cruz), Up Close and Personal (also with Cruz), Magnolia (with Mary Lynn Rajskub), Blow (with Kevin Chapman), and The Ascent.
Role on 24 Edit
Perez played the role of Mike Kramer during Season 2 of 24. Kramer was a park ranger on duty that was on the look for Kim Bauer that day. Perez appeared in one episode, and was credited as a guest star.
