Production co-ordinator Edit
Posey became the production co-ordinator during Season 4, taking over from Chris Porterfield. He was replaced after Season 6 by Kimberley Barnhart as he became manager of production for 20th Century Fox. Part of his new role involved helping make viewers of 24 aware about carbon emissions and its dangers. He became involved with "Climate Group" and, after meeting often with Howard Gordon designed methods to help make 24 more eco-friendly. After discovering that 24's majority of carbon emissions came from generators, vehicles and electricity used on set, Posey began a regime of changing the show to make it better for the environment; bulbs were changed to compact fluorescent lights to be more energy efficient, vehicles now use bio-diesel fuel and the location department has been given hybrid vehicles to scout locations.
