Milspec is a term used to refer to a group of standards set by the Department of Defense, to ensure the quality and effectiveness of their weaponry.

After toxin results came back from Ontario Airport, Edgar Stiles deduced that the toxin found was "milspec" because a rat found at the scene had 2,000 parts per million of the toxin.
