Nairobi was a city in Kenya.
On 7 August 1998, terrorists attacked the United States embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, killing 224 people. The four suspects were later tried in federal court in Manhattan, New York City, under District Judge Leonard Sand. The court case was mentioned in a CTU document attached to Alexis Drazen's dossier.
