Nasir Trabelsi was a suicide bomber working for Abu Fayed during Day 6.

Day 6[]

Abu Fayed sent Nasir to detonate a bomb strapped to his chest while in the Los Angeles Subway. He planned to blow himself up when the train arrived at Union Station to kill as many civilians as possible. He put on a suit, and went with a handler, Masheer Abu-Marzuq, who ensured that Nasir made it onto the train. Both terrorists were tailed by Jack Bauer and Hamri al-Assad. Jack followed Nasir onto the subway car, and Assad trailed Masheer when he departed from the subway station.

On the train, Jack informed the ticket taker of Nasir's presence, and attempted to approach him stealthily. However, Nasir noticed the ticket taker looking suspiciously at him, and Jack was forced into a fight with Nasir for the vest's detonator. During the fight, Jack ripped open Nasir's suit, which revealed the bomb. The passengers fled to the other part of the train while Jack pushed Nasir out the back door as he detonated the bomb. Because of Jack, the passengers survived and Nasir, who exploded inside the empty tunnel, was the only one killed in the attack.

Later, Masheer informed Fayed about the unsuccessful attack. Fayed claimed it didn't matter because the other two attacks (at a Baltimore shopping mall and a Chicago hotel) were successful.
