Navi Rawat played Melanie during Day 1 of 24.
She is an American actress of Indian and German descent. She is best known for her role as Theresa on the TV drama The O.C. and Amita on the TV series Numb3rs. She recently appeared in the Project Greenlight film Feast and the indie romantic comedy, Loveless in Los Angeles.
She is one of four actors to appear on both 24 and The O.C.
In 2003, she appeared in House of Sand and Fog with Shohreh Aghdashloo and Jonathan Ahdout, who later played Dina and Behrooz Araz, respectively, in Day 4.
She is currently a regular on the CBS series Numbers along with Peter MacNicol.
