Nayo Kamilah Wallace (born May 27, 1978; age 45) played an UN reporter in Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Nayo Kamilah Wallace was born in Detriot, Michigan. Her parents were actors Vivian Dandridge and Emmett "Babe" Wallace. Nayo's name (pronounced "Nah-yo") is an African name, meaning "we have joy". Because of her family, Nayo was drawn to the world of acting from an early age and currently splits her time between films/TV, theatre, and voice-over work.

Nayo has worked on numerous TV shows like Southland (with Michael Cudlitz, Regina King, and C. Thomas Howell), Heroes (with Željko Ivanek), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Sleeper Cell (with Oded Fehr, Henri Lubatti, and Carlos Gomez). Aside of TV, she has also worked on films like The Brothers and Speed Racer.

On stage, Wallace has worked on The Lion King on Broadway and in their first national tour. She was also a member of the LA and Vegas production of Rock of Ages.
