Neill Choi worked for terrorist mercenary Ira Gaines during Day 1.

Neill kept watch over Gaines' kidnap victims Kim and Teri Bauer with another guard, Eli Stram. They escaped with help from Rick Allen.

Later, at 11:39pm, Neill found Kevin Carroll tied up in a car and freed him. Neill was among those who scouted the woods to find and kill Teri and Kim, who had escaped. He went into an abandoned structure where they were hiding, but left when Gaines radioed him. He was only a few feet away from finding the women. Moments later, he unexpectedly looped around back and saw the two women, but Jack Bauer intervened and shot Neill to death. Shortly afterward, Gaines and Carroll found his corpse, and realized that his radio was now in the possession of the Bauers.
