Sometime before approximately 1:50pm during Day 1, CTU Los Angeles contacted Senator David Palmer's staff and gave him a threat assessment, telling David that it was too dangerous for him to stay in Los Angeles. After discussing this with Mike Novick, David informed his wife, Sherry, that they must pack up and seek safety at the base.
