New American Privacy Act

From Wiki 24

Jump to: navigation, search

The New American Privacy (NAP) Act, a bill that was scheduled to be handed to President Harold Barnes, was a bill that, if passed, would give the Federal Government an enormously unprecedented amount of power.

President Barnes had earlier expressed interest in vetoing the bill, which, in turn led to an assassination attempt on his life. Barnes survived and it is believed that the bill ultimately failed.

Attorney General James Quincy created the act. It was supported by Senator Latt, and was not supported by Senator Debrah Drexler.
