Nicholas Guest (born May 5, 1951; age 72) portrayed Marr (also called "Cabal #4") during Season 7 of 24. Guest is also a prolific voice actor for animated films and video games.

Biography and career

Nicholas Guest was born in New York City. He is the son of Peter Haden-Guest, a British United Nations diplomat who later became the 4th Baron Haden-Guest, and his second wife, Jean Pauline Hindes, a former vice president of casting at CBS. Guest spent parts of his childhood in his father's native England. His brother is actor, writer, and director Christopher Guest.

Guest started his acting career in 1978, appearing in the TV film The Defection of Simas Kudirka. After that, he has appeared in feature films like The Long Riders (with Chris Mulkey), Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Trading Places, Cloak & Dagger, Christmas Vacation, and The Call (with Jose Zuniga).

Aside of his film appearances, Guest is a prolific voice actor for video games and animated films. He has lent his voice to films like Astro Boy, ParaNorman, Frozen, and Rio, among many others.

Guest has also appeared in TV shows like Sons of Anarchy, CSI: Miami, The Mummy: Secrets of the Medjai, Knight Rider, and USA High.

Role on 24

Guest played the role of Marr, one of the businessmen that conspired to commit terrorist acts during Season 7 of 24. Guest appeared in only one episode and was credited as a guest star. Although he was listed as "Cabal #4" during the credits, his name was given during a deleted scene where he had more dialogue with fellow conspirators Alan Wilson and O'Niel.
