Nicholas Kadi (born September 22, 1952; age 71) played Ahmet, a terrorist sentry working for Omar, during Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Nicholas Kadi was born in Istanbul, Turkey to Nizar El-Kadi, a political representative to Iraq in the United Nations, and Marjorie El-Kadi, an awward-winning television host and actress. His grandfather, Nuri El-Kadi, rode with T.E. Lawrence against the Ottoman Empire.

Nicholas began his career in acting as a child with the New York Children's Theater. He also studied at Adelphi University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Performing Arts. He later studied at The Decroux Mime Studios in Paris. Nicholas worked in theater during the 70's and 80's.

Nicholas has appeared in shows like MacGyver, LA Law, JAG (with Tzi Ma), Line of Fire (with Leslie Hope, Brian Goodman, and Michael Cudlitz), The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini and Michael Irby), Sleeper Cell (with Henri Lubatti, Omid Abtahi and Kevin Alejandro), and Glee. Aside of TV, he has acted on films like Soldier of God, Congo (with John Hawkes and Taylor Nichols), and Navy SEALs (with Haysbert).

Role on 24[]

Kadi played the role of Ahmet during Season 4 of 24. Ahmet was one of the sentries working for Omar and holding James Heller and Audrey Raines captive during the first half of the season. Kadi appeared in two episodes and was credited as a co-star.
