Night vision was a type of technology allowing visibility in darkly lit areas. However, wearing night vision equipment made the user unusually sensitive to bright light.
During the EMP blackout caused by McLennen-Forster, their commandos used night vision goggles when hunting down Jack Bauer and Paul Raines. Jack instructed Paul, Safa and Naji to shine torches in the commandos faces to blind them. ("Day 4: 7:00pm-8:00pm")
