Day 1 Edit
Ohio was one of the eleven states that held a presidential primary on this Super Tuesday. David Palmer won the Democratic nomination with a 69-31 split over Governor Mike Hodges.
Day 3 Edit
Cleveland was intended to be one of nine targets for the release of the Cordilla virus by Stephen Saunders. However, David Palmer grounded flights out of LAX and the courier bound for Cleveland was not able to depart. This courier was likely one of the couriers re-routed to Flagstaff as a secondary target location.
Day 4 Edit
As shown on one of the screens in the CTU Situation Room, four nuclear power plants were located in Ohio. All four of these were shut down after the initial kill code programmed by Edgar Stiles.
Day 7 Edit
One of the targets of a terrorist attack to be carried out by Iké Dubaku included an attack on a chemical processing plant in Kidron, Ohio. Plant Manager John Brunner attempted to stall it by manually releasing some of the gas, knowing that he might not survive. While the gas was stalled, the attack was completely canceled by Dubaku in Washington, D.C. for unrelated reasons.
