Oscar Nunez (born November 18, 1958; age 65) played an unnamed passenger jet pilot during Season 3 of 24.
Biography and career
Oscar Nunez was born in Colón, Cuba. His mother was a dentist and his father a lawyer. Shortly after birth, Nunez' family moved to Venezuela, and then to Boston, USA. When he was four, they moved again to Union City, New Jersey. Nunez attended various colleges in New York, including Fashion Institute of Technology and the Parsons School of Design for writing. He also became a certified dental technician from Magna Institute of Dental Technology.
Despite his studies, Nunez started doing comedy shows with a troupe in New York. In the mid-90's, he moved to Los Angeles. In 1997, he graduated from the Warner Brothers Comedy Writer’s Workshop.
Oscar is perhaps best known for his regular role as "Oscar Martinez" in the television comedy series The Office. However, he has also appeared in shows like Malcolm in the Middle, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (with Burl Moseley), Curb Your Enthusiasm, and more recently Benched. He has also appeared in films like Without Men, The Proposal, and The Italian Job.
